Dear Burnelli -

Thank you very much for your nice letter of Dec. 21st. I hope we shall be able to work something out of this aeronautical mess, and give you people who have really devoted your lives and fortunes to its development the prominence that you should have.

I was quite impressed by Pangborn. Give him my best regards and tell him that if I can ever help him, I shall be glad to do so.

I would like to see you put over this Alaska flight. I think it would be an excellent demonstration. It certainly should lead directly to orders for your type of ship. I have always been impressed with it.

With all good wishes for the New Year and hoping to see you soon, I remain

Yours sincerely,

Mitchell Signature

[handwritten]Please send me your brother's name and address (The one we had dinner with). I have misplaced it somewhere.[end of handwriting]
