In the wake of the NTSBs, FAAs and FBIs inability (or is it unwillingness?) to give us a cause of the crash of Flight 800, several theories have emerged. As far as we at aircrash have seen, the missile theory merits quite a bit of attention in light of Brig. General Benton Partin's research and the testimony of a number of credible people who saw a missile streaking through the sky on that infamous day. Whether the cause of the crash was a missile, an electric malfunction or even a bomb, the fact remains that a number of aircraft have been brought down due to their poor inherent design (as you will see below) and more accidents will continue to occur so long as the problem is not fixed.
